Freddie's By The Proper Sweet Company is a longstanding sweet company whether that has been through our online sweet shop or through our store's either in Bristol or St, Ives Cornwall. We have been trading for a long time and have gained heaps of experience to be able to provide the public with the best of service.

Where did it all begin?
Freddie's began from the owner walking around the playground selling sweets, cans and all other sorts of confectionery from his rucksack for a small profit. This passion grew over time and then led on to being an online business. From that a personal delivery service began where customers could order sweets and then our drivers would deliver (this does not occur any more). A move back to Bristol then triggered the opening of our first shop and from there we have never looked back and have kept growing and expanding.
How do you use our site?
Shopping at Freddie's is really easy. As you browse through our store you can click to add items to your basket. When you have finished shopping simply proceed to checkout where we will take all the details we need from you to fulfil your order. Once order is placed you will receive an order confirmation email from us; this is sent immediately. If you experience any difficulties using our site, whether you are buying or just looking, please do not hesitate to get in contact and we will happily look into it.
How will your Items be Dispatched?
We are not one of these companies in which try to make extra profit through bumping up your postage and packaging costs. Our products show an approximate weight for the total package. This is a guide to help our customers keep track of the delivery charge. These weights are subject to change and may not be the exact weight of goods you will receive due to packaging etc. Exact quantities and weight of the products are shown on the individual items and in the product description, please refer to these to see exactly what you are getting. As per the dispatch email we send customers when their order leaves us, we strongly recommend that you contact us if your order has not been received. Please refer to your dispatch email and this will include instructions of how to do so.When packing our products we make every attempt to ensure that they will arrive in perfect condition by packaging them as best as possible; we do endeavour to use recycled boxes to cut down wastage and to increase reuse of cardboard. If any of your products are broken/damaged and cannot be used then notify us within seven days of receipt.
How do you Store your Sweets?
Upon receiving your order to ensure that your products stay in the best condition possible, we strongly advise that you follow the specific storage instruction for each individual product and consume within the best before date.
Out of Stock
If your product is out of stock we will let you know how long it will be before its available with the option to choose an alternative or cancel your order and recieve a refund. If you want to wait for your chosen item then we will hold your order until it can be sent in its entirety.
All ingredients are listed in the individual products descriptions. Due to the huge range of products we stock, import, we cannot guarantee our products are free of nuts or nut traces.
All our prices include VAT at the current rate of 20%.
Will your Card details be safe?
We take the greatest effort to ensure the highest possible standards of online security. We do not store any credit card information on our systems or at our premises. At no time is any card information held on our servers. All Card payments are made to Freddie's Proper Sweet's. This is the name you will see on your credit card or bank statement.
